All your RiverBluff Collective Questions Answered.

What does RiverBluff Collective Sell?

RiverBluff’s hemp-derived THC and CBD products are made from cannabis and independently lab-tested for quality assurance. All our products are compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill, which removed hemp products from the definition of marijuana in the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), allowing the sale of THC and CBD products that have less than 0.3 percent delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis. While all our products are derived from hemp, they still offer the psychoactive sensation that you get with traditional marijuana.

What is Cannabis?

The Cannabis plant, Cannabis sativa, encompasses both Marijuana and Hemp plants, meaning they have the same genetic background. The main difference between the two is how much delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-9 THC) is in the plant. If there is less than 0.3% Delta-9 (D9) THC, the plant is hemp (which is what we sell!). If there is more than 0.3% D9, the plant is considered marijuana. This classification is a legal one and based on federal law, however there is no genetic difference between the two.

Generally, when you think of cannabis, weed, or getting high, you’re thinking of D9 THC. However, the cannabis plant produces over 100 different cannabinoids. The two most popular are THC and CBD. Other cannabinoids have been found that produce a similar high to your standard D9, like Delta-8 (D8), Delta-10 (D10).

CBD and other non-psychoactive cannabinoids, like CBG and CBN are sought after for their potential medicinal benefits.

What is D9?

Delta-9 (D9) is the cannabinoid we all know and love. It is the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in marijuana, which is known to get the user high.

D9 THC stands for delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol or Δ-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ-9-THC). It is a cannabinoid molecule in marijuana (cannabis) that’s long been recognized as the main psychoactive ingredient—that is, the substance that causes people who use marijuana to feel high.

What is Hemp Derived THC-A?

THC-A is the most common form of THC found in both cannabis and hemp. THC-A converts to Delta 9 when combusted
