What is THCA Flower, and How is it Legal to Buy Online?
THCA (or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid…this is why we shorten it 😉) is the raw, natural form of THC found in cannabis flower. By itself it’s technically non-intoxicating, but when you introduce HEAT (aka the flame from your lighter) it turns into THC, which gets you high.
When you smoke, vape, or bake with hemp flower that has a THCA content, it converts into Delta-9 THC.
Why is this important for buying flower online?
Because hemp laws regulate cannabis based on Delta-9 THC only, not THCA. As long as the flower contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight, it qualifies as hemp. That’s why hemp THCA flower can be sold online and shipped directly to you!
